This event is an unConference on the topic of Arts Entrepreneurship.
What is an unConference? An unConference is “a loosely structured conference emphasizing the informal exchange of information and ideas between participants, rather than following a conventionally structured program of events.”
As part of the ARTSLAB goal to teach artists and Arts businesses how to think like entrepreneurs, we’re bringing smart business to you, the artist. This event will start with an introduction from Conscious Capitalism NYC (http://consciouscapitalism.nyc/) to discuss the basic principles of conscious business. That includes incorporating the following responsibilities as you’re making your art sustainable:
Please note that this is a premium priced event with limited availability
Assuming you have completed the July 17th Workshop, you will now have a unique opportunity to collaborate and support 5 other leaders in your mastermind cohort. Each cohort will be led by a professional leadership facilitator/coach — coaches Mickey A. Feher, Brooke Taylor and Crista Salvatore — and will meet three times for ~2.5 hours each:
Session #1 (September 5th): Define Your Ambition – Getting Real: Goals & Numbers — Succeeding is no longer just about getting the corner office, it means doing work that has Meaning and Purpose. Together we will share current pictures of our businesses, design our vision of success, and create 1-year goals and strategy.
Session #2 (October 15th): Transforming Obstacles: What’s in Your Way? — Discover how to recognize and transform limiting beliefs and behaviors. Increase your overall capacity for success by aligning your Purpose/Identity/Beliefs with your actions.
Session #3 (November 7th): Step into the future and Embody your Vision— Through a guided experience, you will fully embody your big bold vision of living your Purpose and your full potential 10 years from now.
While this event is open to all, CCNYC Members (Leaders and Ambassadors) receive a discount of $120 for the 3-cohort series — please make sure that you’re logged in to access this benefit. Non-members can join CCNYC here.
Most large-scale change efforts are rooted in leadership’s desire to drive growth or reel in costs. When objectives like these are disconnected from a higher purpose that takes into account the needs of multiple stakeholders, the change process becomes rote, transactional and ultimately susceptible to failure.
In this 90-minute workshop, Gordon Robinson of Changing Management and Daniel Dworkin of Kotter International, will guide participants through an interactive discussion about how to leverage the power of purpose and the latest neuroscience research to turn business transformation into an inspiring and exciting opportunity to create value.
Whether you’re overseeing a discreet business transition or seeking to create a more agile organization capable of navigating ongoing change, this session will help you become a more effective change leader.
In addition to the educational portion of this program, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other conscious business leaders in NYC. Drinks and light bites will be provided.
While this event is open to all, CCNYC Members (Leaders and Ambassadors) are free of charge — please make sure that you’re logged in to access this benefit. Non-members can join CCNYC here.
